lr3 air bag light
 

I replaced the drivers bag, sensors, and control module on my 05 Lr3, car operates fine but the SRS light won't go away., Do the replaced parts require some electronic introduction to the vehicle by a dealer to extinguish the lights? Or do I have another problem? Any help appreciated. Parts were sourced from a salvage yard.

You need to read the codes. Without that you might as well replace the air in the tires as a part of your shotgun approach.

Thanks for the reply, I have attempted to reset codes, items were replace not as shotgun method but because it had been smacked in the front and driver bag blew

if you read the codes they should have told you the specific locations of the fault.

you mention sensors, which ones? How about the seatbelt pre tensioner/buckle?

as far as the module, I can't remember if they are VIN specific, but if it is you have to buy a new virgin one from the dealer and use a tool to recalibrate/mate to your vehicle.

again, if you can "read" the codes, not just "clear" them you will get insight into where the fault lies.
