LR3 RRS Jumping Air Suspension Relay Manual Suspension Lift

I understand that you can jump Relay 7 to verify that the air suspension compressor is functioning. Huge caution that running too long, however long that is, can cause the compressor to overheat or the batter to drain. That said, can you raise the vehicle (fill the air shocks) by jumping the relay in this fashion? Or will it simply run the air suspension compressor? One other thing, how long it too long to run the compressor before overheating? 15 seconds? Two minutes? Thanks in advance, this is an amazing forum great, insight! Phil

For those of your that are interested, you can jump the plug on the relay for the air compressor. However, the compressor will run but it will not raise the suspension. PHil

link to some air suspension files

Below is a link to some air suspension system files that may prove helpful - and yes, jumping R7 may put air into the air tank but the air will not necessarily feed into the air springs.

R& jumped, I would not run the compressor more than 30 seconds and then would shut it down for a minute and keep cycling it in that manner.

Time I have, money not.
