Metric temperature displays

I'm considering an LR3 and would like to know: can the external temperature display be set to show celsius?

Is there a way to change the HVAC faceplate as well?

When i changed the battery in my 2001 disco it changed the outside temperature to celsius. i disconnected the negative terminal and reconnected it to see if that would reverse it back. it did not, but the power to my radio went out. is there a fuse behind the radio.
before the radio quit there was a message saying no disc from the cd cartrige, but the disc is full and in place.the fuses under the hood are all good and the radio fuse under the steering wheel is good.
Should i buy a radio removal tool , pull the radio and check for a fuse and get the serial number off the radio.
i bought my disco seond hand at about 44000 miles the lot didn't say anything about a radio code.
thanks dwayn

RE: Metric temperature displays

Yes the temp setting can be set on both the LR3's and D2's.

Dwayn,
Hold down the power button and the recirculation but at the same time and this will rest you settings. As for the radio, you have a CD player fault and should talk with the dealer as to getting that fixed, don't try and pull the radio, it is not the fuse.

Thanks Mike
without touching the outside temperature button

i turned the key as far as i could without starting the engine
then pushed in and held the recirculation button with the 3 arrows forming a circle then pushed and held in the power button for the heater blower at the same time. the screen for the outside temperature then displayed

0 C 0 F

i waited while still holding both buttons and the display changed to

0F.

i let go of the buttons the screen went blank
then when i pushed the outside temperature button
the display showed 50 instead of 10.
