Exclamation Need help identifying busted hose

I want to apologize in advance for my lack of engine knowledge. I'm trying to prevent another thousands of dollars visit to the dealership. I have a 2006 LR3

The other night I was driving and stopped when I noticed smoke coming from the engine. I immediately turned the car off and looked under the hood. There was coolant sprayed every where. I finally found the source which ended up being a busted hose. I'm not sure if the clamp broke or there was immense pressure that made it burst. I'm hoping I can just buy the clamp to reattach the hose so that I can drive it to a local mechanic. I'm not sure if this is a coolant hose, over flow? Its off the upper radiator house and before the throttle body...I think. Again I'm just a girl who isn't well versed with engines but I'm not afraid to try and fix it.

I will attach pictures of the hose. I don't know where to search, so I'm hoping someone knowledgeable can guide me in the right direction.

Thank you so much for your time

Based on what I have read before, I am shocked you still had the original fitting (maybe replace once already?). Anyway, just pick up a ****** connector with two clamps and get it back together. Its a common failure point and often the fitting is replaced as preventative maintenance. I think the size is 10mm inside diameter.

THat's the bleeder valve its a crappy 10 dollar part that gets brittle than snaps to pieces. You will want to dig the chunks out of the hose and either replace it with a new plastic one or spend a few extra bucks down at Home Depot or Lowe's and you can make one out of brass parts that should last forever.

Thank you ArmyRover and DakotaTravler. I decided to just change all the hoses and connectors. Figure they will all start to bust at some point soon. I will definitely look into adding brass parts. Seems silly that they used such flimsy parts for an off roading beast.

After reading this, I remembered that I needed to do this. Spent $9.00 at Osh to make this:

when I went to put it on, I realized the v6 doesn’t need one. The bleeder is built into the expansion tank.
