Most people that do it recommend about a can per wheel. I used 3 cans total. The first few coats go on very light/blotchy and once you've got the wheel completely covered you can start laying it down a little heavier.

Alright, thank you very much. I had plasti dipped my grill, so I've got about 3/4ths a can left, maybe a little less. I just purchased 3 cans and I'm waiting until I get my new tires on before I actually put the plasti dip on I don't want any chips when I first put it on because that would only be a huge hassle to redo correctly.

Thanks again,

Interesting, I have been looking at these Falken WildPeak A/T tires as well in the same size have you spent much time in the dirt with them and how have they worked for you?

They are a great tire for the price. The trails here in Colorado are pretty rocky and they provide good traction across wet slippery rocks. If you arer in deep mud a lot they are probably not the best tire. Coming from 35" mud terrains, I'm still happy with how these perform on the trails out here.

Yah I cannot decide if I want to go with an AT or go back to an MT even if the majority of the road driven is paved or dry...
