No power to the climate control!
Hi there. I have a 2005 LR3 and recently the external out side temp and climate control have stopped working. The climate control has no power going to it what so ever. I checked the fuses but don't see any burnt out. There is some water in the passenger door sill where the wiring loom runs. Thought that might have shorted something out but can't find the culprit. Any suggestions on where to look specifically? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you having any issues with any other electronics?

Other than my disk drive under the drivers seat for the sat nav, no. Its just the climate control...

I think a quick pull of the controls may be in order. If I recall, there are four connectors on the back. Maybe there was work done and one was not connectedly fully. Since all you need is a torx bit and 15 minutes of your time it may be worth a look. FYI, one of the connectors is vital. If you fully remove the unit do not expect the vehicle to start until you plug it back in.

Didn’t think of that, I’ll give that a try. Thanks!

I re-read what you first posted, when you said you checked the fuses did you specifically check the fuses for HVAC or did you just browse over them? And there are two fuse boxes, engine bay and the junction box behind the glove box.

I pulled just about all the fuses related to the hvac amd they all in good shap. The only one I haven’t checked is the black fuse under the hood for the blower motor and the rear climate black fuse. Need to get my multimeter out for those. I also took out the climat unit out to disconnect and check the condition of the connections. They looked to be ok. Trying to think of other possibilities
