I agree. Which is why I made my own up from (still overpriced but cheaper) brass fittings from the hardware store.

I made mine too, mostly because I was practically stranded. Just a brass tee with hose barbs on either side and a (I think?) 3/8 NPT plug on the top of the tee so I can still bleed it. Works amazing and as an added bonus, you can screw in another hose barb and connect it to a jug of water and bleed the system much quicker. I only realized this because I could NOT get a stream out of the top for a long time, even following the varying-rev method LR released. Once I filled up wherever those lines go, revved the engine, a steady stream came out!
