I have an 06 LR3 20,500 miles. Service advised that Land Rover helps out with alignment and replacement of tires under 20,000 miles.No luck here except thAT THE DEALERSHIP WILL HELP WITH BUYING ONE TIRE AND I CAN BUY THE OTHER AND PAY FOR ALIGNMENT. Forum threads all agree that goodyear wranglers are rotten. Considering Continental or Avon. both have good reviews and better pricing. Any advice? May be chaeper and better to replace four tires and alignment elsewhere. Mostly concerned with wet road conditions and the weight of the vehicle.

 

I just bought 4 new Michelin Cross Terrain tires 2 weeks ago for my LR3 2005. I still had mileage left on the Goodyears yet the wife put a nail throught the sidewall. Decided to purchase 4 new ones and I have been bery pleased so far with them. They appear to track better than the Goodyears did. If you have a Discount Tire near you they are the most reasonable that I found for tires on the LR3. Good Luck!

 

Good Year has never made a tire that works well on any land rover, I agree with Michelin as a choice. The Range Rovers were equipped with the same style good years and they had huge issues,and finally switched to Michelins, Get an alignment done at the dealer though, the LR3 needs to be locked into an alignment mode for the air suspension to get the alignment right.(IDS test book feature)
