Back to the tires.....My 06 HSE LR3 eats tires... 255/55/19... I'm told Goodyear only makes the HP which we all know how those tires worked out for us. I got about 16,000 miles out of them when the loud tire noise started. Replaced them at 19,000 miles w/ syncrons from mchellen... I just hit 30K & those tires suck!! Really Really Loud... Started at 27,000 miles..... What options do I have in 255/55/19 that doesn't suck?? Other then the tire issue, I love this car, it's been really good to us!!

My other Rover is a 04 Disco & I put on Goodyear Silent Armours Foterra 255/55/18... She drives great now,,,,, If only they made them in a 255/55/19 for my HSE LR3!!!

By the sound of your questions, I will assume that you would hate noisy/vibrating tires almost as much as I do. The way I see it, I don't want to put up with noise and vibration 95% out of my driving time, just because I want better mud performance out of the tires the 5% of the time I do off road them.

Sorry my advice is limited as long as you decide to keep the 19" tires. The selection of quiet, comfortable, quality tires at that size is VERY limited. I don't even know of any I would dare recomend. My best advice to you would be to sell those 19" wheels and buy 18's for the LR3. Then, the field of great tires to fit the LR3 with is almost endless, much more comfortable and cheaper.
