Initial post said that you replaced the solenoids. In order to replace them, you have to remove the black plastic frame that plugs into the solenoids. That black plastic frame is the Transmission Control Module (TCM). On the side of the TCM is a position switch (tan or brown) and engages the manual valve and moves in conjunction with the shift cable.
When putting the TCM back on, did you properly align the sensor with the shift valve?

My issue appears to be electrical. My vehicle isn’t even recognizing that I’m in M/S mode. The shifter illuminates m/s, but the TCM live data states that the vehicle is in drive and specifically states that m/s is not selected.

I believe this is what Techniker was referring to. That is why I asked if the PRN message was displaying correctly in the message window. If this isn't installed correctly, I found that message for the gear indicator was off to what the actual shifter position was. Don't ask how I found this out... BTW, I did not attempt to drive it or move the shifter to the command mode so I don't know how this may/may not affect your situation.
