Humble to post after DIY timing chain :-o Nice job!
Replaced front air valve block (again). rebuild air compressor w/new seals, desiccant, and mounting bracket.
Continue to be disappointed in 16 month old Warn VR12 winch! This time had remove the free spool to unseize lever. Took this opportunity to clock it forward 1/8 turn for better access. Also painted the free spool lever "safety orange" for better visibility.

Congratulations! Feels pretty good when it's moving under its own power after a repair like that. Looks like a base model with no sunroof or rear panoramic glass? I'd swap the halogen headlights with non AFS Xenon units... just my .02

I’ve been driving it to work everyday and I must say, I like it better than my daily driver ‘99 D2. It is nice and roomy, much quieter, better ride(air suspension works great) and a little more power. I’ll search the forums for a nice stereo upgrade if I keep it, the base radio is pretty dismal. The PO put 22” rims and new tires on it. Definitely not my choice in rims, I like more tire sidewall. Even though I’m not a hardcore off-roader, I do like getting to my favorite farm ponds.

Damnit!! Seeing your rescue Rover makes me want to go find another one!! (number three).....but I guess I should get #2 up to perfection before I do that. I need to fix the front heated seat, the DVD player and there is some bodywork I could do. Oh and it needs an a-piller trim piece.
I am just not sure I feel like tackling the heated seat....those clips sound like a real pain.

My daughter has been joining me in working on it and the Excursion. She has decided she wants the old F150 for her first car and she needs to understand working on them. So she has been pitching in so I am enjoying it.
She steered while i pushed yesterday to get it on the trailer.
Rolled it half way on than a come along got it the rest of the way up
