Where to buy LR3 parts

Hi guys,

I know I can get parts from the dealer, but I want to see if there is any other options? I found Roverlandparts.com but they sell only used parts. I am looking for new front lower control arms, transfer case and differential fluid. On the oil, from what I read, I am best off running the stock blend. Is that accurate?

Thank you,
Branden

I have used these guys with great success.
Genuine Land Rover Parts Online at Discount

I also am currently using Mobil 1 75w-90 in my diffs for about 6 months now and have had no issues.

I also am running Royal Purple Synchromax in the Transfer Case. No problems to date.

I don't use mine as a daily driver. It is a weekend toy and used to pull a boat. Low miles each year but almost always towing.

Really it depends on what you are looking for.

I bought my lower control arm from amazon for $114 each, shipped via prime. There were like $105 from rockauto, but the shipping made them cost more.

I just bought some parts from our local LR Dealer, Land Rover Miramar, here in San Diego. I picked up some OEM Rear Brake pads for $78, about $30 less than Amazon or Ebay. Plus I had them in my hand that day. I haven't had to buy too many other items, but if they are offering that percentage discount on all of their parts, I am a fan! They seem to be trying to get some of the older LR business back. They have had a wholesale turnover of their parts staff since I was getting parts for my DII. They always treated me pretty well before, but now they seem to be even better. Plus they gave me a cool bottle of water with a Land Rover logo on it! Phil
