Anyone else had an iphone issue similar to mine?

So when my dad plugs his iPhone 4s into the LR4 plug, the dash screen seems to display the same songs over and over and it wont progress alphabetically and when he picks "all you need is love" by the Beatles, it'll play something completely different. Any thing I can try to help him out? Or is this a dealership sort of issue? Thanks!

Best,
Carlos

You could try a different Iphone and or cable??

It could be an indexing issue on the iPhone. I had a similar issue happen just the iPhone itself. I would try to play a song and it would play something else.

Had to delete all my music and recopy it to the iPhone.

iphones and vehicles do not mix. Trust me on that. I see more issues with all the iphones then anything else. Whatever you do don't update the iphone unless its compatible with your vehicle or else you lose a lot of phone features.

Maybe the rover doesn't like the bugs? ( maybe needs more than love ? )

I've had no issues with my iPhone 4s and 2013 LR4. Everything works fine, bluetooth phone, blutooth music, connected music.

Everything else works fine. it's only the music thats giving us problems.

Have the dealership check it out. Had the same problem and it just got really frustrating because, I'm not really much of a techie. Had the dealership check on it and one of the young guys was able to fix the problem. I really don't know how he did it, but he was really helpful and patient dealing with me.
