LR4 HDC transmission and gear won’t come up
 

Hi all

i have a 2015 Land Rover with 81k miles. The car is impeccable. Recently I have been getting HdC transmission warning. All started last summer when I got Johnson rods, few height warnings here and there I figured they could
be reset by turning off the car and turning it on. Which it did 100% of time.

yesterday morning, it called quits. The gear won’t come up and HdC warning came on. Turn it off and turn on. Still same thing this time no HdC warning but gear stayed down.

I was able to rotate the nob with my fingers and get the gear to move from P to D and back no issues, without the gear nob up.

help? Anyone encounter something like this?

I saw a posting from LR3 guy had exact same issues as I do. Betting my money probably has to do with Johnson or height getting messed up?
