Question Best place for Land Rover Accessories?

Hi, after many patient years I am finally a Land Rover LR4 owner (2015). I went to a Land Rover dealership here in NJ to obtain a second key and to inquire about:
Roof Rack/Cross bars
Mud Flaps
Rear Ladder
They came back with an installed price of $3,100 which seems outrageous?

Any recommendations where to order? The install on the roof rack seems easy, ladder seems like a ton to take apart?
thanks in advance!

All depends on if you are able to use basic tools. Roof rack requires a few wrenches while ladder you need to pop some trim off the inside of the door and the lift gate latch assembly, nothing is hard aside from maybe setting the rivnuts (unless you have a rivnut tool).

The best ladder is really the LR one, or the ebay copies which are quality-wise almost the same (minor branding and finish details differ). Front runner makes another but has concerning rust issues and a design that is not as elegant as the LR one.

Several companies make racks better than the LR one which they have not bothered to change since 2005 until 2016.

Mud flaps, skip those, or get the LR ones. Don't see the point, either you really REALLY care about spending your money to protect other motorists from a few bits of dirt or gravel, or you take it off road and you will rip them off anyway, YMMV.

$3100 is ridiculous.

Thanks DavC!!!!
On the ladder it did seem best to let LR handle...
Roof rack I will handlle and look at those 3 recommendations. I ultimately want to carry 2 kayaks and at times a cargo box...and not interfere with the moon roofs.
Mud Flaps - yeah I just liked the looks of them...i would rather save the cash.

What a great forum of experts!

I have the Baja rack on my lr3 and like it a lot. Another great choice is front runner. No experience with the prospeed rack but I love the look.

Ladder front runner is around $245 from Lucky8 the prospeed which I like better because of the drop down step is $310 at Lucky8 as well.

I'm with DavC on the mudflaps.

Installing either is straight forward with basic tools
