Unintended Acceleration Anyone?

In the gasoline versions, it is quite ordinary for some oil to get past the PCV and into the intake - just a poor design. If very much is getting past, it can be due to worn piston rings and excessive blow-by gases in the crankcase. Since a diesel can burn oil, I’m guessing they try harder to keep as much oil out of the PCV as possible, so that indeed sounds like a problem.
Good luck with it.

This just happened to me with my LR 4…I was parked in front of a garage..foot on the brake and suddenly the car accelerated and I crashed through the garage door into the garage..very scary experience and luckily no one was hurt but my car was severely damaged…! I’ve heard since of this happening with others…!
