advice needed on lift

Ive got OME 2" springs sitting in the box but currently dont have the extra money for the OME shocks I want.

Im tempted to go with the Procomp ES 9000's at half the cost of the OME's. I will only be using the truck for light offroading; nothing crazy, national forest trails, old jeep trails, highway medians, etc.

Ive also been told by a parts supplier that I could get away with running the factory shocks with the 2" lift springs for awhile.

Im tight on funds at the moment trying to ready my house for sale, but am tired of seeing a mall crawler DII in the driveway.

So, question is, do I get the ES9000's and be happy; use the lift springs and factory shocks-wait for the OME's?

thanks in advance for your input, mv

spring for the ome's not much more and far worth the extra money. stock shocks wont last to long with he HD springs.

You won't be happy with those shocks, wait and save up for the new Sport OME shocks and then you will have want you want.
