Any Interest in High mount receiver for LR3 and RRS

3 Attachment(s)
Hello I am new here and to owning my LR3 but have been working on building a decent off-road camping vehicle for the family.
I have developed a rear hitch receiver that is at bumper level, similar to the Mitch Hitch in Australia. I am trying to see how much interest there is here State side. Here are couple of pic during my development. I am think of doing batch runs at around $300 per receiver. What do you all think? Thanks in advance for your input.

What would the load capacity be? The reason I went with an OE land rover hitch was they are rated for 7700lbs and 500lbs tongue weight while most of the aftermarket were quite a bit less. I think the best aftermarket I could find was the curt brand and it was only rated for about 6500lbs.

I obviously haven't had it tested yet, but the the mounting plate is made out of 3/8" plate and am using grade 8 5/8" bolts for mounting hardware. There are 2 bolts the mount in the chain loops under the bumper and one that is mounted in the tow ring loop. The Mitch Hitch out of Australia is rated at 3500 Kgs (~7700lbs) I would guess this would have similar ratings. If there is enough interest I will get it tested (I have to give the testing facility 5 of them to destroy to get accurate ratings). The big plus to this one over OE is 20" of clearance vs 8-10" at the receiver tube.

I have hit my OEM one while offroading before (use it as a recovery point w/ a Shackle). I could see an interest in the one you are testing.

I never got much interest so I didn't get the receiver tested. I have however used it to hook a receiver mounted winch to and pull the LR3 out of 2' snow. I have also used it as a lift point for a high lift jack without issue.
