Default harbor freight Badlands winch review

Let's use this as a compilation of useful review information.

I have had the badlands 12k for a very short while. I've only used it a couple of times. It is a little loud. it is not lightning fast. It is not a sealed unit. It has performed without issue, thus far. I shall update as more information is gathered. oh, and it was INEXPENSIVE.

Just picked up a HF Badland 12k. Haven't had a chance to install it yet. Review to follow shortly along w/ updates as it gets used.

Dusty can you post some pics of how you installed yours? I a little confused as how to mount this thing to the ARB.

Can't I rotate the handle so it faces up? I wanna reach down into the top opening of the bumper. I think I found out how to rotate the housing. I'll post my findings.

Not home yet, but loosen Allen head and reposition. Also brake works both ways, so if you need to change out-in direction... Can do.
