Franklin stay away from the standard OME shocks and only use the H.D. shocks they offer.
Same with the springs use the 751 front springs and 762 rear springs, you'll love the way it handles.

Contact Tony at Cerrone's in San Francisco, his prices are as good as they get on line thru his forum.
His number is 650-365-4145, his stock is good and he usually ships same day.

Hey!

So, what would it take to get a good OME lift, but keep the SLS?

I love the height and look of a few good inches lift, but I love having the SLS.

One question, if I were to get the lift and keep the SLS, would the rear end of the truck raise like it did without the lift?

Let me know!!

Thanks!!

oh and btw, I MIGHT, like later down the road add a front grill guard, if that at all, so I really don't want a heavy stiff ride. All I'm looking for is a smooth ride, but lifted.

Thanks!

OME 779 front springs, stabilizer and HD shocks and an 2" RTE spacer block for the rear suspension and you will be set.

The suspension really won't allow too much. You can get 3" before needing to change brake lines and changing pinion angles. I think ajh is trying to go higher. Might PM and see what he has run into for downfalls.

You must not be looking at the right lifts, a good near 3" lift stands out in a crowd, along with some good tires.
