Laggy Accelerator Fix?
#61
Just an update. My SA told me yesterday the quite a few owners of the Disco V and new RRS Si6 have spoken about the accelerator problem. JLR is aware of it and working on a fix. My dealer has a list of people with the complaint and will notify us when they get the fix.

LR Main Line in Wayne has excellent CS I've been told and LR Willow Grove will be our service centrr.
As a new LR owner purchased from an Infiniti dlr we have no first hand experiences yet.

Kinda weird but seems a lot better
After only driving our D5 for a week, I've complained about the laggy acceleration problem here and read what all the dlr visits have produced...no real solution.
I was fiddling with the driver settings and changed the gear paddles under vehicle settings > convenience settings to work in D and S. Once I did that the lagging seemed to lessen significantly. Not sure how it affects the TCU, but I'll take.
Let me know if others experience similarly.

Hi Everyone, I am officially out of the 2018 Disco 5 Luxe and now an owner of a 2019 RRS Dynamic. Kudos to Wilde Land Rover in Sarasota, FL for taking the Disco back and putting me into the RRS Dynamic. The culture of the Wilde Automotive group is one rarely seen in the automotive industry and their goal was to keep me a happy customer, which they have always done. Good luck with your laggy accelerators and most of all, be safe!
