Looks great! Any noticeable rubbing?

Haven't seen or heard anything rubbing. That picture of just the wheel looks like something about to rub - just went out and looked at it and it was just the angle of the picture. There's plenty of room and nothing trying to rub.

:thumbsup: I'm thinking about doing the same thing when it's time for new tires. Still haven't decided on the brand, but want to put the lift rods on and go with the 275/55R20.

My Dura Grapplers I ordered are almost 11.5" inflated so they touch that spindle arm running up to the upper control arm. So, not actually meeting 275/55 spec, I got Discount Tire to take them back, and I've got a set of these coming. It was a coin toss between the Nittos and these Yokohamas but "last month" the Nittos had a nice rebate, Yokos did not, so chose the Nittos. Well, this month, the Yokos have almost the same rebate so I lucked out. Thanks for the perfectly timed post. Looks good.

Which tires did the D5 have before the Yokos? How does the on road noise compares between the previous tires and the Yokos?

I'm still a ways out to replaces the stock Pirellis, but will need something that has good on road manners, good in snow/ice and would like better offroad grip as wel. Was looking at at the Toyo ATs, but since it is the wife's daily we will need something a bit more road friendly.

Original tires were: GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC AT SUV-4X4 255/55R20 110W XL but I only used them for a month or so before putting on Blizzaks.
I don't notice any road noise with the Yokohama. With windows closed you can't hear them and with windows open the wind noise is louder than any tire noise.
I think they ride better and when hitting road imperfections, potholes, etc. they seem to absorb the hit better than the Blizzaks and the original Goodyear tires. They seem to handle fine. The Yokohamas have a snowflake symbol rating so they should be as good in snow as any non-winter tire. I tried them once in a few inches on my steep driveway and they performed without slipping going downhill and back uphill.

I've got a lot of experience with Nitto Terra Grapplers. I ran 3 sets, about 40K miles each set, on my LR3. They got noisy in the last 10K of tread. I replaced each set before they hit the 2/32nds level. They were a great tire, very solid, good off-road, and good in snow. My 4th set was the new Nitto Terra Grappler, I think it was called the G2. I only used them for a month before I sold the LR3. But I didn't like the sound of the new tires - they had a sticky contact like sound I didn't care for. Otherwise I would have bought the Nittos instead of the Yokohama.

Yeah, me too. Loved the H rated Terra Grapplers on my Pepper though, running the Pirelli Verdes in the summer, I got sick before I wore the Nittos out. Strange they make the G2 you think to improve but I think similar to what Pirelli did changing their ATR to "down market" to S rated pickup tires and the quality went to crap. Had a hickup last week so "finally" getting the Yokos on today [I hope??].
