2008 lr3 v8se
Hi there,
I'm new to the forum as a registered user, but many many countless thanks to everyone who has helped me learn more about my LR3.
I started researching a replacement car over 2 years ago, and thought, what the heck...why not consider a Rover? Colorado will seem less enigmatic if I could ride the roads less traveled. At first, it seemed like a ridiculous mental exercise, applying used car cautions to an LR3 - it wasn't even a serious purchase, just a passing whim...or was it? - but the more I questioned the car, the more and LR3 seemed like the perfect family car.
We needed something that could accommodate road trips, weekend camping excursions, visitors, and class field trips. More importantly, we needed something that could handle where our curiosity led us. Too many whims were cut short because a road became impassable - our cross-over or rear-wheel vehicles just couldn't handle it.
With a year of research under my belt and a list of inevitable issues to consider (real ones...not the ones that happen because we top off with oil expecting it to be a cure-all), the choice was clear: 2008 LR3 V8 SE.
So far, a year of road trips, streams, steep inclines, ruts, intermediate trails, and nasty weather keep my road beast purring.
