Default Having problems accessing parts of the site or PMs?

Due to the recent volume of spammers sending out crap to members we have set things up so that new members cannot perform certain functions on the forum. This way, the spammers cannot join and start doing things "under the radar".

However, not to worry. For our good new members (non-spammers) you will be upgraded to a full access member after 10 days and 5 posts.

If you post links, pictures or attach files within your first 10 posts the forum software will automatically moderate your post.

We the human mods do not get a notification of this action being done or of moderated posts. So we don't know unless we happen to find this pencil eraser sized icon in a row of icons on your post.

So please PM a Moderator ArmyRover, or Tom R with a link to your post or at least where to look for it

Click on the freelander forum and post a new thread. I believe at five posts you can start doing other things as well. Here are some pages from the shop manual, are these what you were looking at?

I am new to the site- early August. I really want to be in here, but it won't let me post anything or put a picture up or anything. It says contact the administrator but there is no way to. I would have tried to post within the ten days but it wouldn't even let me do that. How can I get accepted on here? Thanks,
Kelsey

Ok there must be a better way to manage the spammers, from the engineering perspective. But getting my thread deleted randomly and automatically is not a good experience.

Hey there-- are new members limited to 2 messages in their DMs at a time? I'm new (just purchased a Discovery 5) and am trying to purchase some parts from classifieds... but I'm struggling with a 2 DM storage limit at the moment.
