Default Hello

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum so I thought I'd say hello.
I live in Scotland and have a 1999 defender 90 that I got just before christmas. Its in good condition but there is signs of rust on the bottoms of doors and the front bulkhead. I'm hoping to fix these as soon as I can. I'm a bit of a novice with mechanics but I'm very handy at DIY and can normally muddle my way through with some help. So I'll be asking for tons of advice.

Cheers Buzz, I did that right away. They look good. I've got the Haynes manual as well.
Been on ebay today looking for a cheap welder. Got to address the bottom of the doors.
Anyone know the best way of cutting away the old bottoms and attaching the new ones.

2 landys sounds like a lot of work. Especially since they are older ones. I have enough on my plate just with one 'nearly' new one.
Have you got work to do on them?
