Hello from Colorado!
I'm new to Land Rovers and the forums. I just bought my first Rover on Saturday: Black 1996 Discovery SE7 with 108K miles. It needs a decent amount of work, so I'm most likely going to be spending a lot of time on the forums. I bought it as a replacement for my aging '85 SAAB 900 Turbo (315K miles), and to eventually modify it for off-roading.
I already downloaded RAVE and a few other manuals that were linked to. |
Welcome.

Good to see another Colorado member. When you get a chance, read the major service thread in the sticky at the top of the D1 section and if yiu need any help, send me your number and I'll call you.

Thanks for the offer, Mike, I'll probably be taking you up on that in the near future. I'll print that list out and stick it to the dash until everything is checked off.

Hi, I also just purchased a 2004 d2. I live in Wyo, but have bought a house in Loveland. So far the land rover has been a load of fun. With a little mechanical ability you can do all the repairs on Land Rovers. Mike has been a great help to me so I'm glad I will be living in the same state. Maybe when I get moved down there we can go explore a trail or 2.

Great to have another Rover lover here! Welcome.
I'm planning to go down to CO quite a bit next summer for some trail time. It would be great to meet some Rover guys down there. |
There's a few of us in the state. :D

It will be a little while before my Rover is completely ready to go, but that would definitely be a lot of fun to hit a few trails.
