Default Hello from Kalamazoo!

Hi all,

I just "took delivery" of my 2003 Discovery 2. I put took delivery in quotes because I bought it non running and the sellers offered to pay for a local tow. As you can see she is kinda rough, its been sitting a while as it was believed to have a bad fuel pump. It also seems to have a bad battery because I can't get it to take a charge. There also seems to be something wrong with the bottom tailgate hinge, but that is going to have to be a problem for later.
This is my first Land Rover and my first British car, so I'll probably have lots of dumb questions but I'll make sure to search first. Exited for the adventure and the challenge!

Thanks lots!

Welcome from Traverse City Your Disco looks very similar to mine and I'm sure you'll have her running in no time. If you're on Facebook there is a Michigan Rover group you may be interested in checking out (Great Lakes International Land Rover Club). A few of the members are on the forum and it's nice to put faces to names.

Good luck and have fun!
