Kicking tires in Seattle
Considering adding a Discovery variant to the collection. Not sure where it will go though.
I've already learned a ton here though, so thanks for that. https://s19.postimg.org/ha35b8c0j/20170122_184245.jpg |
Time for a bigger garage/toy box!

Where are you in Seattle? My wife got me to move from green lake to woodinville by finding a house with a humoungous shop.... which I then promptly filled up :)

[[/img] I'm in Woodinville also. I live in Bear Creek CC, so unfortunately no room for a shop. Well, technically there is, but to access it, I'd have to drive across the golf course, or the neighbors front lawn. I do find frequently find myself browsing local real estate listing for a shop friendly place though. |
There's that one place for sale up in Bothell with 2 shops that looks decent.
i wish I had more space for cars, I maxed myself out with 10 in there at the mone that. It's a pain in the butt when I need to put one of the trucks on the rack, I have to back everything out and reshuffle them all :) it worked out that that I have 4 generations of Rovers at the moment so holler if you want to come over and kick tires. |

Oh hell. Sometimes I wonder WTF is wrong with me. I spend hours researching all of the good advice that you all spend good effort to provide here, and I proceed to ignore every bit of it. The bad: Clearly a mercy trade by a dealer, who probably netted it for free. Dented side. Broken door handle. Power seat backs don't operate. Looks like a dog chewed on the key fob. The coup de grāce? Check engine light on, and I didn't have the means to scan it. Normal sane person: "Thanks anyway" - runs away in fear Me: "I'll take it!!!" - pulls out wallet What could go wrong? |
The good:.......
Okay, the not so bad: 81k, 2 owner, both local. Engine seemed relatively sound. I've never been exposed to one of these before, but idling with my head under the hood, it was quieter than the LS in my Cadillac. No smoke evident on a cold start. Hopefully they didn't just pack it full of motor honey. Drove just fine. Tracked and stopped straight. 4H worked. Didn't even try 4L. Felt like it was hitting the bump stops, so will clearly need suspension work. Hoping for the best. Expecting the worst. |
I love it when folks post their finds. For a cool grand I'd grab it and make it trail ready. Only pesky thing are those rear jumps seats.
