New to landrover
 

Hi everyone, i have recently bought a series III SWB, as a kid i have always wanted a landrover and now finaly i have got one. Having it less than a week i decided to take it off road on a bit of land i have, was having great fun, going over logs/tree stumps, through ditches ect. I was having a great time when i tryed to tackle a slightly larger river ditch when i got stuck and my inexperiance let to me spinning all 4 wheels and digging deep ditches, 24 hours later i got a very muddy land rover back on the road and cannot wait for my next off road experiance, prefrably with others.

Welcome to the world of land rovers.. they are great fun, and a series III swb is a good way to start, I was brought up on them, and they are great.

Becareful though with the wheel spinning though, with a series III that is a good way of snapping a rear half shaft
