Default New LR1 owner in Rockwall TX

Hello guys,
Michael here. Not new to offroading, but definitely new to LR1. A totally different beast. I will be picking it up this weekend. According to my father in law, it drives great. He is a mechanic for many moons.
So, I am excited to get back to offroading. Used to offroad 2 XJ and 1 Ford Expolorer, al built from ground up on my driveway.
I saw someone here from Wylie, lost the name.

Hope to meet up with you guys, and see what LR1 can do.

I'm not too far away, in Wylie. Just got a Disco II a few weeks back. Best of luck to you. I'm getting misfire codes on 3 and 7. Replaced plugs... no change. Not sure if its worth going through wires and coils... I'm worried its a head gasket or dropped sleeve.

Here it is. As of today, the front bumper and the grill guard is gone. So, no bumper.

lol, I'm now Bumper deficient.... as well.

It's been replaced with a stout Moose Strainer, and Ramsey 12k winch assembly.

That sounds great. It is running.. just not very well. I replaced the plugs last week and I just got a new set of wires in this weekend. Hopefully I'll get those on Thursday evening. Hope I don't have a bad head or block...
