I have just purchased my 5th Land Rover . . . a 2007 LR3. (past - 1964 Series II, 1999 Discovery Series I, 1997 Discovery Series I, 1995 Range Rover Country, and now my LR3.)
My family has been Land Rover free for probably 15 years (excepting my son rebuilding the 64 Series II). I am about as far from being a mechanic as humanly possible. My biggest mechanic adventure was replacing the water pump on the 64. That actually worked! I have no garage, no tools or no knowledge!
But now we're back in the Land Rover business! Hahaha! I have so much to learn! And I'm really not sure why I did this except my wife just loves Land Rovers. It's an hour and a half drive to the closest mechanic that I can find that has experience working on Land Rovers. SMH
But I think we did get a good LR3 and looking forward to new adventures!
