New owner In SC

Hey all New owner of an 04 discovery 2. I've been creeping on these forms for a while leading up to ownership and now that I own one ill be on here active with questions.
Any advise ahead of time would be great...

Im planning a 3 in lift by terriafirma then set it on 32 in tires. Ill custom build my own front and rear bumpers and roof rack being I'm a welder and have access to full fabrication shop.

The end goal is an Overland style truck I can daily the 5 miles to work, and play on the weekends.

Let me know how the TF lift kit goes, I went with OME instead. And would love to see your custom bumpers and rack, been contemplating if I should do the same but I don't have a shop or equipment to do so anyways...

Hey as a fellow south easterner can you advise on any good trails?

ArmyRover 05-12-2020 08:36 AM

uwharrie national forest is not to far and is a lot of fun. Good trail system for getting out and learning your new Disco. You can look into things like the georgia traverse and MABDR as well for some overland type fun
