It will need a deep cleaning inside and out. it has been sitting for a long time so mold had the perfect environment to grow. I was happy about buying it.
Soon i expect to start checking function and get ready to pull engine and trans. Hopefully i will have already ordered 5.3L swap. so i can start right away.

Previously I had a 97' Toyota land cruiser. I also did the 5.3L swap. iron block with 4l60e trans.
On the D2 I am planing on doing 5.3L amluminum block with 6L80e trans.
Currently I am going through the electrical library and manuals to see what problems i will run into with BCU and GM set up.
I am also determining of which engine accessories to use. I hope to stay with D2 a/c compressor, P/S pump , and Alt.
I am also figuring out how to keep the ACE. Or just go with regualr sway bars.

I finally will swap my engine and transmission out. (or at least I will have the new stuff) I purchased a 2013 5.3 LC9 aluminum block with 6L80e. the old engine and trans will be out this week. maybe next year I can start on putting the new stuff in it. though I may decide later to get a 6.0 iron block and 4L60/80E to put in and save the Lc9 for a different project.
