Newbie with a 1996 XD
Hi
I have recently acquired a 1996 Discovery XD "Camel Trophy" truck that was use for promotional purposes back in the day.
That said, the truck is a 5 speed manual, has 147K miles on it, and is 100% rust free.
I am currently wet sanding the entire truck, as the Arizona sun took it's toll over the years, and so far, she is coming mighty yellow.
I am hoping to replicate all of the original decals as well.
The XD has about a 2" lift, Old Man Emu shocks, Rovertym springs, ProComp 265/75-16 tires, as well as the Safety Devices roof rack, the front brush guard, the tail light guards... that came with these trucks.
I believe there were only 7 to 10 of these Discovery's ever built.
Anyway, just sayin' Hi, and hoping to get some information on what fortune or misfortune I may have stumbled upon.
