How old is everyone?

Currently 24. I began my Rover experience less than 3 years ago when I purchased my first Disco (1998 Discovery LE). I knew nothing about Land Rover, knew nothing about what I was getting myself into and I went head over heels when I first laid my eyes on her. Yes she had a 2" TerraFirma big bore suspension lift, brush guard and hid lights, but she also had almost 200k and was in need of serious mechanical work. Kept her for less than a year before I retired her, but the addiction was already in my blood. I learned more about the mechanical aspects of vehicles while i owned her than in all my years past. Today my ultimate dream vehicle is a 2004 Discovery SE, and I'm currently making $300 weekly payments on one such vehicle - she'll be paid off and the keys in my hands in November.

Mid 30's. When I first saw the D90 in middle school, I was hooked! Never did anything about it until a few years back when the family needed an SUV. Both my wife and I were totally sold on the LR4. I took it on a few dealer Wheels events and got the offroad bug! I have had a chance to meet Lea Magee on some of these events and finally convinced the wife to let me get a used Disco. I still want a D90, but hard to justify a $35K purchase to the boss if I am going to wheel it a lot

I'm 34... The '99 D2 that I'm driving now was my wife's car. She bought it in 2007from her sister's boss. It was immaculate. He sold it because he upgraded to a newer LR. Wife's '04 D2 that she is currently driving came from her sister also. We bought it last fall from her when my Montero Sport got crushed by the neighbors tree (The '99 also got hit).
So, now my wife and I both drive D2's ('99 & '04), my sister-in-law drives an '08 LR3, mother-in-law drives an '02 Freelander, & sis-in-law's boss drives a 2011 RR.

22 years old. Moved to Hawaii in 2010 and decided I needed a new pair of wheels, so I got a 98 D1 without doing enough research, and ended up paying for it. Unfortunately by that time it was too late, and I was hooked, so I ended up getting another Land Rover... my current D2. I still am looking for a D90 but they are rare, and the Land Rover Dealership (and the only shop that works on British cars specifically on island) says they only know of 8 D90's and 1 D110 on island.

18 years old. I am a freshman in college and am already on my second Disco. Our family is big into Land Rovers and bought a 96 DI brand new (my dad backed it off the truck.) Due to mechanical issues (big shock) it sat for 5 years until my dad and I put countless hours, and money, into fixing it up last summer. A few months ago we were in the market for a new (used) car and I was finally able to convince my dad to purchase an 04 DII. It was in SPOTLESS condition and has run like a champ so far. I have it up at school in Logan, Utah while my dad continues to drive the DI back at home. We are a Rover loving family and always will be!

Im 36, I as many others always loved the look of the Disco. I bought mine in 2006 after I totaled my XK8 Jag convertible. Thats another crazy story...I paid $17500.00 cash for her which at the time I thought was a bargain because the dealer had the same one for $27000.00. Bought her off ebay and met the dealer at the Manheim auto auction to pick it up. I am the 2nd owner and when I bought her she only had 31000 miles on her. Years later and 70000 later I am still in love with my 03. I have learned to do all the work on her myself and hate if and when I have to go to a garage because I feel that they wont be as thorough as myself. I do love it. I spend more keeping her on the road then she is worth but I love her.
