Default land rover dealer

Well I know I said in the past after a bad experience with my d1 I would never return to cherry hill land rover ( see my old hi idle thread) but I have befriended one of their techs and he has helped me out on the side on his own time with the lr3 some when I was really stuck for an answer or guidance

So when I rebuilt the suspension I scheduled the alignment at his work and he drove it there and back since he lives near me which is great no waiting at the dealer

Now its been well over a month or 2 since the alignment and last week I was driving the lr3 and the thunk clunk was back like I had a bad bushing, no idea how long it was like this since even when I pointed it out to my wife she was still kind of oblivious, no way we have a bad bushing they are new urethane

Laid on ground and wife moves car tapping brakes and there it is a loose alignment bolt, my first thought wtf there goes another $175 down the drain I figured no way they warrenty alignments

So called dealer , explained there was a loose bolt making a clunk , they said you must have a bad bushing, told him no was all new urethane before alignment an I can see the bolt moving

He says no problem bolt should not have come loose re alignment will be free ( wow) I mentioned the mechanic I use there and he had him call me right back to see when he can take it in to work to fix the alignment ( again wow)

I did discuss it with the mechanic and he has no idea how the bolt came loose we think it may be due to all the never seize I slathered on them to keep from rusting into bushing sleeves

So they are doing a good job changing my opinion, still won't take the d1 there but lr3 sometimes no choice , plus it helps to know the guy working on my stuff
