1965 Series IIa- things to check?
 

Hi all,

Bought my beast a few months back. Had some land rover specialists give it the once over before I purchased but wondering if theres any things I can be doing re: ongoing/regular maintenance-wise to keep the old girl ticking over nicely. Am flushing and replacing all the fluids in the next couple of weeks; just waiting for new copper gaskets to arrive. Got a service manual on its way too. Read something a while back about pouring some oil into something to do with the steering??
Any tips, hints, things to watch for would be greatly appreciated.
