I'd buy it. Probably not for quite that much money though. I'd rather have a coil sprung rover though. Or maybe both.

I would buy it, not for 5G though... Maybe 2G cash....

You got to love them a lot to really drive one. And have a lotta of $$$ to pour into it.

I have a 73 series III. 5K is a bit much, but if you have to have it make sure the rust problem spots are ok (frame, firewall and doors). You do have to love it to drive it, it will go anywhere but not in a hurry and some parts can be hard to get a hold of. If you can get the price right why not.

+1 5Grand is too much!

5 grand is not that bad. I think it should be closer to 3. If the frame is solid and it runs and stops you are good. the front of frame looks good as does the rear cross member. the bulkhead seems solid as well. It has full doors up front wich is strange for a three door model. also i Like the reverse lights on the back of the hard top. unique series truck I would grab it for what ever he takes.

I think there was one similar to that around here for $1200. It was on craigslist in Panama City. I think it was a 1962 IIa or something like that??...I can't remember the model but it looked identical to that one.
If you could find it here in Panama City and paid $2k to ship it home you still come out cheaper than $5k... Let me know if I can help |
