2002 Discovery 2 - Parts truck
Long Story short, a week after doing the headgaskets the Disco blew a rod. I though about puting another motor on it, but I just don't have the time.
About $2000 in parts right before it blew the rod: Tires Head gaskets Gasket set ( lucky 8 ) Machined heads ARP Studs ( Lucky 8 ) Injectors 8mm Magnacor ( Red ) New Coils ( Lucky 8 ) Radiator Brake booster Water Pump Bypass thermostad mod w/ digital water temp gauge I wish we could have the time to work on it, but unfortunately we don't. Clear Florida Title in hand. Silver in color Please feel free to text Asking 950 OBO, Disco is in Hudson Florida. Thanks in advance Gus Eight one 3, 4 five 4, forty one 28 |

Here are some pics, the truck is dirtier now because of the trees.

$850
Are we way off on the price or is just slow after all that turkey...LOL |
I will not speak directly to your price relative to market value, but I can share my experience. My most recent Disco is also a 2002, 140k. Both bumpers broken, head gaskets blown but 25 psi idling oil pressure, no drive in forward gears, tires bald, small tear in drivers seat, sunroofs pouring water. Body was perfect, NC truck, minimal rust on frame. I paid $650 sight unseen (pics only) and wonder every day if I paid too much.

New asking price : $600

I'm interested. Do you have some pictures of the interior? Everything else work good? I'm not located too far from you and I have an engine to replace it with.

I apologize for the delay, but I do not get notifications from this forums since the Disco failed. Just too painful to see everything that everybody is doing to their trucks and ours just went down. I had been out of town and should be back by this weekend, everything else was working fine, rebuilt the front shaft before and one of the power steering hoses developed a slow leak. Do you want to stop by during the weekend? Please feel free to text or call @ 8one3 four54 fourty 1 28 Gus |
