Default 2004 Discovery 2 SE with 5spd Manual, Pittsburgh, PA, USA

Asking $5,000 USD
2004 Land Rover Discovery 2, 4.6L Jaguar (thor) V8, 113k miles, 5 spd trans, locking transfer case, power everything.

The truck was originally with a BMW automatic trans. I converted the truck to manual transmission. It's an R380 5 speed trans with 114k miles from a 1994 Land Rover Discovery 1 with a V8. The conversion was done just like an original Land Rover install. Discovery 1 from 1994-1997 had the option of a 5 spd. 1998 thru 2004 were only available with autos in America.

Items fixed or replaced with new in the past 5 years/29k miles:
Elring composite head gasket with ARP racing studs
Water pump
Serpentine belt
Steering pump
Radiator
Coolant cap
Bosch Platinum Spark Plugs
Bosch coil packs (both replaced)
Spark plug wires
Tornado Systems fuel injection ECU from the UK. Especially programmed for a Thor engine with a manual transmission. Also it was programmed to give the truck a mixture of fuel economy and extra horsepower if you floor it.
Bosch mass air flow sensor (larger bore for the 4.6L engine)
Rear brake rotors and pads
Front brake rotors and pads
Brake fluid flushed and brake reservoir rebuilt.
Driver side ball joints
Driver side ABS sensor
Tom Woods front fully grease-able driveshaft, complete all new assembly from transfer case to drive axle
Rear U joints replaced
4 new Monroe shocks
Steering box
Steering pump

Oil changes every 3k miles with Mann filter and Rotella T4 15w-40 oil. I'd grease the drive shafts every 6k miles or every other oil change.
Tires have fair tread Yokohoma Geolander tires. New spare tire.
All around she's a good running truck. It was my daily driver until a week ago. My wife got a new car and I've been driving her old car as my daily driver. I'd like to sell it to a Land Rover enthusiasts. Someone that understands the trucks and really loves them. But it would be a good truck for a kid looking to learn about 4x4's.

If you have any questions please ask. Please no tire kickers. If you're serious come take it for a drive and see if you like it. If you don't know how to drive a standard transmission don't email me.

Lots of pictures and video of the truck start up and running. Thank you!

A few questions:
- it looks pretty rusty underneath. I already have a rusty truck. Have you attempted any abatement?
- Did you replace the springs when you replaced the shocks? If not, what was the reason?
- Any leaks from the sunroofs?

1. The rust on the frame is just surface rust. No holes and nothing is rotted away. No treatment has been done to the frame. I was planning this summer to do a waxoil treatment. It's not an original rust belt truck. The carfax when I purchased the truck said the truck was purchased in California in 2004 driven until 2010. Was in Georgia from 2010 until 2013. In 2013 I bought it from a dealership located North of Pittsburgh, PA. At the time the original undercoating was still on the frame.

2. No issues with the springs. I didn't have any reason to replace them. The shocks rode horrible. So I just replaced the shocks.

3. The front sunroof leaks a little if you're sitting pointing up hill. The rear doesn't leak. I park in my driveway pointing downwards and can see the water running out of drain tubes. The rear roof has no leaks at all.

If you have any other questions let me know.
