2003 SE7 Diesel Disco project
I have a 2003 Disco SE7 that had around 120k miles before I got started. Typical slipped liner tick so I decided to solve the issue the hard way. lol. Bought a 300tdi kit and ripped out the old engine. The diesel engine and manual transmission are in the truck. Motor mounts are welded in place. Drive shafts reconnected.
This is about the time... parts started going missing. Someone stole the custom pedal box I made and the fan and several other parts. I lost momentum and got busy with several other projects and never came back to the Disco.
Now it's taking up space in the garage and I need to get it moved.
The heavy lifting hard part is already done. Now it's time for someone to start the other hard part of getting her running and enjoying the great outdoors. (trust me, I know there's a little more to it than that. Not trying to debate the how's and why's of diesel conversion)
I need to sell it as is or have someone finish it for me. I need to get $4,500 out of it. That's probably less than half of what I actually have in the truck. Or, if someone is willing to take it on and finish it for me, I would be willing to negotiate the labor for that.
I will not part it out so please don't ask.
Truck is dusty from sitting but it is actually in good shape. Good paint, good tires. Interior is good too.
I'm in Columbus, GA and can help arrange for delivery within a reasonable distance.
If you are interested or have any input or even a good pedal box and fan, let me know at lance019@gmail.com
Thanks guys
