Best part of all is if you google Adam Smith, 33641 Blue Lantern St. Apt. B, Dana Point, CA 92629-3741 the first two sites are Land Rover Forums and Defender Source.

That's a crock of **** Paul. I buy a lot from eBay and do my research before I buy. I try to use vendors from on here that are enthusiast and try to do what's right and for eBay to give that jerk a refund after he tried to stiff you is completely unheard of. That's like taking a used box of diapers back to Walmart and you getting a refund. WTF

no personal offense to anyone, but......Ebay is run by a bunch of liberal college educated idiots with a walmart mentality....the idiot customer is always right and you the seller must absorb( read "bend over") the costs to make them look good.

It's kinda like going into Walmart and buying an xs white t shirt..taking it home and trying to put it on your xl body...ripping it in the process...returning it to the store for a refund because it was the wrong color....and then asking them to give you some gas money for your trouble....

That sucks. You are lucky you weren't out of pocket + the part. I've sold on eBay before and have been burned like this multiple times. eBay heavily favors the buyer, even if they're a brand new user and you're a PowerSeller.

Yep. I'm very discouraged with Ebay. They did the same to me over $15 bucks. A different scenario. Buyer had the item he bought for over 3 weeks then decided it wasn't what he wanted even though the description and pics clearly stated what the item is. Ebay refunds his money then wants to bill me even though I clearly stated "I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS". I'm not an ebay store. But it was my fault in the end because the customer is always right according to Ebay. They paid him now want money from me. It will be a long time before I do anymore business with Ebay. Sorry to hear it has happened to someone else. It will definitely be a trend for scammers to profit from. All the best!
