Hi there LRFs,

I'm a prior owner of a 2002 Disco SE, which put me through the Disco School of Repairs. I loved it but then baby #1 happened and the money pit had to go.

I'm back on the market again 5 years later, this time to get one as a weekend truck. After doing a lot more research, I'd love to get my hands on a 2004...preferably one that's had the standard 100K work completed (gaskets, cooling system, front driveshaft).

I'm fully aware that this will still be an ongoing project, and that's all part of the fun, but I'm not going to kid myself into thinking I can do a head gasket job successfully.

If anyone's looking to move on from an 04 Disco II, I would love to talk.

where are you located?

 

Located in Atlanta area but willing to drive/ship for the right truck. I'd rather put in the effort and get it right up front.

Keep an eye on craigslist and even autotrader cars.com and the like. I would stay southern and away from the coast if possible to limit rust issues.
