Hi
Just bought a 1995 RR nice looking car but too scared to driver it...
I start her up in the morning and the brakes are solid and respond really well...
for about 5 minutes...
then after driving for a few mins, i have to press further and harder to stop the car.
all the 3 dredded brake lights are on,3 in a row ..
anyone any ideas?
does it need bleeding

Is your a classic or P38? I would think your accumulator is in need of a replacement.

Facing the front of the vehicle, the pump will be to the back right near the EAS pump. The accumulator may or may not be the cause. However, if it wasn't replaced within the last couple of years, its time anyways. The accumulators are between $179 to $200 new. Don't be cheap and buy a used one . roverparts.com has several, but I found miami rovers on ebay to be reputable and carry discounted accumulators. Start with the accumulator first and if the problem is still there we'll go deeper into the system. Here is a link on how to replace the accumulator: http://www.rangerovers.net/repairdet...cumulator.html

Here is a little site I created about a year ago when I re-did my system: http://yourwebdesigns.com/abpmp/
