Check relay # 7 for book icon issues, also check your pollen filters they may not have been changed and will clog up you system

Had the same issue. I just open all the windows and sunroof and avoid hot muggy days..

Default a/c

ok guys update well just got back from phille and the range ran flawless
the whole 2000 miles plus..while in phille took truck to dealer and they said that the a/c control unit was bad and that there was a short between the wires back behind the unit? so got back home and pulled unit out and sure enough there was a black and yellow wire in the white connector that was cut clean and short a inch or so? i tried to jump it and still no a/c i checked for current at the plug where the wire came out and no current neg or positive there is also a yellow and black not black and yellow and same thing no current neg/or postive? any input..

I thought they said the control unit was bad. Did you replace that also or just repair the wires?

no i just order one my original operates everything but the a/c clutch i was just confuse as to why only that did not work but apparently its not sending a cut on signal

You also might want to check the evaporator temp sensor. It is under the dash on the passenger side. Pretty easy to get to. If it is bad or missing it won't allow the compressor to engage. Check it with an ohm meter.

you know what the readings are?

I don't but I believe they are in the Rave manual.
