Default Changing Freeze Plugs - 1996 RR 4.0 - GEMS

Can someone walk me through how to remove and replace the freeze/frost plug above the starter (developed a leak.....)?

The part is less then $3.00 but need advice......

Help needed in Seattle!

I'm not sure the proper way but if nobody responds I will tell you how I do it. (Probably not the factory approved method but it works for me.)

Yeah I do not know the proper way either. I know the right way to get them in just not out. I am sure there is a procedure in the service manual.
