Default EAS Manual - 1997 Range Rover SE 4.0

I just bought a used Range Rover SE 4.0, I think there is a problem with the shocks/suspension. When I start the car momentarily the dash says EAS Manual which means it is riding on the bumper stops. Also I do not feel the car rise or fall and think it might be riding a little low. The light does not stay on and further it does not put forward the warning Drive slow 35mph. So I am not sure if it is an actual problem or not, and how to diagnose it? Would love some help! Thanks

It sounds like it has been converted to coil springs before you bought it. Mine does the exact same thing. If it has been converted, then there is nothing wrong.

I would crawl under and see what you have then. Also look and see if the EAS stuff was removed from the engine compartment. It would be on the drivers side fender.
