Default Why Standard Spring Kit rides at Access Height?

Hi all,

I have a coil-converted P38 that rides incredibly low to the ground, and even harsh bottoms out regularly. WOW.

So I decided to replace the old shocks and coil springs.
I ordered a new Atlantic British Standard Height coil kit. Incredibly, the new setup is still very very low to the ground. Just the same height as before everything got swapped. Measuring axel center-to-wheel well, I'm at 18" front, 17.2" rear.

Luckily, I do have LR 19" rims fitted, which add a bit of clearance. But I do really use my truck in the dirt, so I'm trying to figure this all out.

Can anyone make a recommendation? Am I missing something? Should I ask for a refund?

Thanks much,
AB

If you use it off road I would have got the lifted version of the kit so I could fit bigger tires

Thanks for your thought. I guess the issue comes down to what's advertised, vs what performance is actually gotten-- if I buy their offroad height, will that only bring me to Standard height?? (since I bought their standard, and am sitting very low/bottoming out).

I'm surprised by the gross performance, really. With so many spring conversions out there... are they just dealing with bad springs from this kit? Or have they found another brand that is much better? I wish I knew beforehand.

No idea about the quality of the springs in the kit. I've ridden in a P38 that had the terrafirma lift kit on it but never a standard spring conversion.
