Default Range Rover Classic Interior Trim Removal **advice needed**

Hey everyone, so I am in the process of adding some sound insulation to our RRC and I have gotten 99% of the interior removed without a problem however I am stuck on the plastic covers for for the rear seat fold down mechanism. Could anyone lend me some knowledge on how to get them to break loose? I have removed the two screws on the outside of the housing but it seems to be attached in the top corner section. I've attached a few images to help better explain where I am hung up.

Cheers,

Brock-

Just gently pry the cover up from the bottom, then grab the sides of the cover and pull outward.
That's the way I've done it many times.
You can also spray some WD-40 through the top release button hole. Could help if the plastic is stuck to the metal latch body.

Here are a few good looks at what you're working with.....there's just not a lot going on.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It never crossed my mind to remove it all in one piece! I ended up discovering that they were glued down across the top and used a heat gun to loosen them up and pop them free. A few swear words and then some patience.

Cheers,

Brock-

Default Covers may be glued

Brock

I've recently removed one of these covers, only to find that as well as the two plugs the covers were glued to the metal box section.
Whether done by a previous owner or at the factory, certainly made it painful to remove the covers.

Regards
Mark
