03 L322, 50k miles, Selling for parts
 

We've got an 03 that's been sitting in a driveway for six years. Changed the battery, oil, and filters, shifted the gear selector enough times to get the xyz switch to work and woohoo, engine starts. Car runs and drives. But, suspension won't reset and brakes have a leak. So, given that the dealers here (St. Louis, MO, USA) don't have the diagnostics anymore, we've decided we don't have the spare cycles to put into resurrecting the car further. We figure there's a lot of value in the car for someone that either has time to fix it up, or who could resell the parts. Scrap estimates are < 1k, seems to me that a low mileage engine alone would have more value than that for enthusiasts. Does anyone have any experience with selling (or buying) RRs in this condition, recommendations on where I could look, who I could talk to about buying it?

It sounds like a shame to scrap it. Hopefully someone will buy it to bring back to life. If I lived a few thousand miles closer I’d be interested.
